13 years ago, I was seeking answers to a lot of health issues that developed after moving to Texas. After spending thousands on alternative care: Naturopaths, acupuncturists, Bowen therapists, Chakra clearing and the like, I was guided to the world of dowsing. My health had been declining ever since we moved into our current house in 2000. I still ate healthy and exercised. The only thing that changed was our living space.
I found out that these unseen negative energies can affect you slowly over time. In 2010, when I started on this path of natural healing, I had no idea it would bring me to getting certified as a Master Dowser.
It’s important to clear wherever you spend a lot of time, especially the bedroom. I had been sleeping over geopathic stress lines. Add to that, my upper body had been laying right over the cross points of Hartmann/Curry lines, which are caused by electrical currents in houses. This creates an especially negative energy field. Interesting that I had developed severe arthritis in my shoulders which were in this area.
After clearing my space, I immediately slept better. It takes time for the body to come back into balance after removing the source of stress. I’m happy to say my shoulders are now free of arthritis and some other health complaints have cleared up as well. Clearing my space made all my other health regimens so much more effective. If you don’t clear the stress first, it’s like filling a bucket with fresh water when there’s a hole in the bottom. All the therapies in the world won’t be able to overcome the constant stress you’re living in.
Every environment is different. I resolve the most pressing issue first. Often, that can be a negative energy vortex. An energy vortex is a spiraling force of energy in the earth. It can be positive or negative. Positive vortexes are found in places like Sedona, Stonehenge, the Egyptian pyramids and throughout the world. They spin clockwise and have an upward movement..
A negative vortex spins counterclockwise in a downward motion and creates a draining energy. Sleeping over one can deplete your energy and also dehydrate you. Over the years, this can affect your health in a negative way.
A recent client noticed always feeling off in her bedroom, especially her stomach. I cleared two large negative vortexes in her bedroom; one directly under her bed. The vortex happened to be situated right beneath her stomach area while sleeping. She noticed an immediate improvement in her sleep and said she loves going to sleep now. Her digestion will continue to improve as her body is no longer dealing with the stress.
I also removed “Spirit forms” from the house and cleared her antiques of emotional and mental energies. Wandering spirits are the energy of people who were not able to transfer to the next dimension after death. For whatever reason, they remain stuck. Negative vortexes tend to attract them.
I find helping these energy forms move to the light to be important healing work, both for the property and for the souls to whom those forms were once connected.
Often people purchase antiques or other treasures that were previously owned. I clear any negative imprints from these items as well so you’re not affected by them.

- We’re not as active as we should be.
- We go on extreme diets off and on that leave us losing muscle and gaining more weight instead of reaching our healthy weight.
As we come to the close of 2022, it’s time to start thinking about what you want to manifest in 2023.
Most of the time we think about career, places we want to see, things we want. And of course, there’s always the goal of losing weight and getting fitter.
But when it comes to New Years Resolutions, 80% of people Don’t follow through. That’s because we try to do it with our strong will, which doesn’t always fall in line with what the subconscious thinks. Rather than starting with hard choices for the new year, why not start with easier choices first. Starting with the choice to “Feel” your way through life, instead of “think” your way through life.
You’ve heard the phrase, “mind-body” connection. “Mind-body” refers mostly to your feelings and emotions, which affect every organ, and every cell of your body.
Did you know that stored memories become part of you? If you keep reminiscing about the bad, talking about the trauma and the upset, you’re storing it deeper and deeper into your tissues. It can also cause you to hold onto weight, if that’s an issue.
Our fat cells absorb toxins. Negative emotions are toxins. When you release the negative energy you’ve been holding onto in your body, then you can begin to lose the weight naturally and easily. By being in the present moment and using your memory for what serves and benefits you, you can achieve the weight that’s right for you.
I suggest you make a list of 3 good habits that will serve your body well in 2023. Keep it simple so you make the habits permanent.
Here’s an example of 3 simple choices for the new year:
- Send love to your body by massaging it. Your lymphatics will work better and your cells will appreciate the nurturing.
- Deep diaphragmatic breathing. Studies show that 80% of weight loss comes from your breathing. Deep breathing excretes waste along with carbon dioxide. Avoid shallow breathing from the chest. Take nice, slow deep breaths from your gut for a 4 count. Pause for a 2 count. Then slowly exhale for 6 count.
- Take care of your liver by starting your day with a glass of lemon water. Squeeze half a lemon in an 8 ounce glass of water and drink first thing in the morning. Wait at least 15 minutes before having anything to eat or drink.
Your liver is the most important organ in the body. If someone has anger issues, they most certainly have a toxic liver.
There are two types of anger: the aggressor and the victim. The aggressor lets everyone know they’re mad. The victim represses their anger, putting their needs last. They’re more into people pleasing. Both types need to clean their liver. A toxic liver means you’re holding onto toxins and storing them in your fat.
Nurture yourself. Accept yourself. Practice forgiveness. These are the keys that help you balance your body so you can get back to self love and the healthiest weight for you.
As we leave 2022, ready to embark on a new year, this is the best time to let go of the old so the new can come in. Let go of old belief programs and patterns that no longer serve you.

A while back, a mother wanted me to clear her house. Ever since they moved into a new home, their 2 year old son had been sick. She intuitively knew something was not right. He had been so healthy and active at their previous home.
Her husband kept saying it was normal for him to be sick when kids are in pre-school around other kids. That he would outgrow it, and to just ride it out.
Month after month went by with no improvement in the son’s health. He was sick all the time. He had a hard time sleeping. And the happy, energetic boy he used to be was no longer. Out of desperation, the mom, who was also a nurse, called me for help.
Sometimes people think only very old houses need clearing. This house was only 5 years old. When I checked the energy of it, the level was a negative 11. You want to have at least a positive 11.
The first thing I noticed was a large negative vortex on the bottom floor in the formal dining room. The son’s bedroom was right above it. Any floor above a negative vortex will have double the negative effect. Also, his bed was situated right over the vortex.
What is a vortex? There can be negative vortexes and positive vortexes.
A negative vortex is created by negative ley lines that intersect each other in the earth.
A negative vortex will intensify the beta frequency, which tends to get our brains wired and running on overdrive. Trying to relax into an alpha state and eventually into Theta for sleep is difficult, to say the least.
When spending time in the area of a negative vortex, physically you may feel drained with a lack of energy, uneasiness, or achy in the head, neck and back. Sleeping in this negative energy over time can result in illnesses. It’s like being exposed to toxins day in and day out. Your body starts to break down.
If you notice frequent arguments or a feeling of uneasiness in certain rooms, like the den or kitchen, it could be from a negative vortex in that area.Upon clearing the house with the 2 year old son, the energy of the house immediately went up to a positive 11. The mom later informed me that her son was finally sleeping and back to his energetic self, and not missing pre-school anymore. She also admitted that she and her husband were sleeping much better and she was now motivated to finish unpacking the boxes that had been sitting in her bedroom for months.
When you’re living in a house with stress day after day, whether it’s from negative vortexes, geopathic stress, negative Hartmann/ negative Curry lines, etc., people start thinking that how they’re feeling is normal.
It’s NOT normal. You’re supposed to feel good, especially in the comfort of your own home.
I have also turned negative vortexes into positive vortexes, which has a tremendously positive effect on the entire house. The higher the vibration of your home, the higher Your vibration, and the more you attract good things to you. More abundance, more clients, better health, and better romance.

The fascia system is something we hear a lot about these days. If you feel stiff or tight, it’s related to tight fascia. We used to think simply stretching the muscle was the key to being limber. But now we know if the surrounding fascia is bound up, it’s like choking the muscle when you try to stretch. As a pilates instructor, we focus on lengthening the muscle. However, I notice some clients are literally in pain trying to get into a lengthened position. It doesn’t help that most of us sit in collapsed postures at our computers or simply hunched over our cell phones. Bad posture day in and day out leads to bunched up fascia that gets stuck and restricted. So the first key to ending chronic pain is to simply sit or stand up straight.
There are different ways to work on the fascia system. I’ve done Essential Somatics where we focus on relaxing the muscular system, which also relaxes the fascia. I’ve done Zenga, the pilates version of releasing the fascia that lies between the skin and muscle. And while both of these gave me more flexibility, I still had some really deep pressure points in areas that would not budge.
Then I discovered Block Therapy. Using a bamboo block, we actually release adhesions all the way down to the bone. The freedom of movement that results is amazing! I’m even making changes in my scoliosis!
This “After” picture was done after just 21 sessions of blocking. I even took a week off half way through the program, and I still got results. I’m excited to see even more changes in the months to come.

Kay, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
As a pilates instructor I believed as long as I stayed active, I’d be free of pain always. By 2018, I had developed severe osteoarthritis in both shoulders. It got so bad, I could no longer drive the stick shift of my Mini Cooper. That began my quest in how to heal myself. I took a year long course of Eden Energy Medicine to learn energy techniques. I learned a lot, and improved certain aspects of my health, but not the arthritis. I also tried chakra clearing, Reiki and the Emotion Code. Nothing helped.
A defining moment came when I met someone at a network meeting who said she was a Theta healer. I was intrigued and tried a few sessions. I felt a release of some old beliefs and patterns that had been holding me back for years. It felt like Divine Timing so I signed up for certification classes in Theta Healing. During the Advanced Theta Healing class, the arthritis in my shoulders completely healed! It was the miracle I had been looking for. And now I’m passionate about helping others heal with this technique.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
“I’m what you would call a “seeker.” All my life, I’ve sought after truths that are beyond mainstream.
I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and its amazing ability to heal. When I began having symptoms of Celiac Sprue, I remember going to a doctor who asked me how nervous I was. This was back when no one knew anything about gluten, so I began seeking help at natural health food stores. After reading an article about Celiac, I tried the gluten free diet and like magic, all my symptoms cleared up!
I started listening more to my intuition. My family called me a “health nut.” Eventually I became a personal trainer, and then a pilates instructor. I kept acquiring more knowledge about the body and earned my certification as a “Metabolic Nutrition” counselor. People seemed to trust me for advice and would ask me for help with their symptoms or ailments. I always had an answer for them. I didn’t think much of it. It was just natural to know how to help them.
I explored other ways to be healthy like doing QiGong and getting certified in BioEnergy, which is a way to clear and open up the Chakras. So if a pilates client had a pain in their body, I would use my hand to clear it.
I began studying about emotions and their effect on the body. I studied with Herman Mueller, the founder of Psychosomatics and Body Analysis. I studied the Emotion Code and how to clear emotions quickly and easily.
I then began focusing more on energy and vibration and began to study about crystals. Then I studied about vibrations in the environment and earned my certification as a dowser to help clear spaces. Later I got certified in Healing Dowsing and used my dowsing rods to send healing energy to organs, sore throats, headaches and more. And the problems would clear up.
Eventually, because of some shoulder issues I was having, someone referred me to a practitioner of Energy Medicine. I was fascinated with the flow of energy through the meridians, the Radiant Circuits, and the Auric field. I signed up for a 4 month course. I started working on people and clearing up issues. I even helped discover the root cause of a woman’s headaches she had had for 30 years.
I finally found my soul’s purpose with Theta Healing. The arthritis in my shoulders was dramatically healed.
As I look back, everything I’ve studied up to this point has given me an understanding of how the body works and how to witness a healing by the Creator.

“My most effective strategy to grow my clientele is being of service and giving 100% to my clients. I really listen to them and use my intuition to assess their individual needs.
I also bring a joyful heart to everything I do. Most of the time, clients are in pain or hurting emotionally. I let them vent and also help them laugh. Life is supposed to be fun!
And when the client experiences good results, they tell others about me. It’s mostly a referral system that works best for me.”

The coronavirus pandemic triggered everyone to make big changes, often unwillingly. Yet some of the changes we made were more intentional. Here are a few ways people altered the shape and direction of their lives for the better during the pandemic and tips for making those changes permanent.
Reignited passion projects
Some of us needed a side hustle to pad our budgets. Others needed a way to fill their newfound free time. Whatever the reason, countless people reignited old hobbies and discovered new passions during the pandemic.
As people return to the office, it becomes harder to allot time to hobbies. However, these stress-relieving pastimes are worth keeping on the schedule. In addition to lowering stress and boosting your mood, hobbies are good for overall health. Make time for hobbies by building them into your routine. Identify downtime in your week and dedicate it to your chosen hobbies. Blocking time for your personal life ensures your free time is fulfilling. If you struggle with procrastination and overworking, use time management apps to make better use of your days.
Turned hobbies into careers
For some, those hobbies blossomed into something more. Countless people turned passion projects into side hustles during the pandemic, from dog walking businesses to garden consulting services and more.
Now, those businesses have grown and people are turning their side hustles into full-time businesses. That means thinking about things like liability protection and business taxes. Organize a neighborhood project like a community garden, public art project, or Little Free Library. Hyper-local initiatives like these are a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors and build community. If you need to raise money for a neighborhood project, try crowdfunding, organize a fundraising event, or ask local businesses to sponsor your project.
Embraced the simpler life
Those communities might not be the same ones where we lived at the start of the pandemic. Millions of people relocated during the pandemic. Some moved to escape cramped cities while others moved back home to be closer to family.
Now, we’re settling down permanently, swapping city living for space to stretch our legs in suburban and rural communities. But while a slower lifestyle has its perks, including lower costs of living and better access to the outdoors, buying a home is more challenging than you might expect in today’s seller’s market. Stiff competition, all-cash offers, and homes selling above the asking price are shutting many buyers out of the housing market. You’ll need to be in a strong financial position including mortgage preapproval and a cushion for competitive bidding to compete for your dream home.
The coronavirus pandemic has given us a lot to mourn, but it’s also had its silver linings. The disruptions the pandemic brought to our lives caused us to rethink what matters and the ways we spend our time. Going forward, embrace the silver linings by making positive changes like these a permanent part of your life.
When my daughter was just entering her teen years, it was like an emotional roller coaster. Little things would become gigantic. I’ll admit my patience was wearing thin. One day, when trying to comfort her that everything is fine, it’ll be alright, there, there……… The tears turned into screaming and I blurted out, “Nothing Matters!”
I stormed out and she got quiet.
A couple of years later, I noticed a small post it note on her computer with the words, “Nothing Matters!”
For some it’s beauty and fashion. For someone else it’s their next fun vacation. Or it could be improving your fitness with yoga, pilates or cardio. Until something matters enough, we won’t make changes to our usual way of life.
Which of these feel like the biggest struggle in your life?
- I feel I’m not good enough.
- I have relationship challenges.
- Physical pain or illness interrupt my life.
- I feel unsatisfied about my weight.
- My finances stress me out.
What you are thinking and feeling is something you should be placing a LOT of priority on. All of your thirty trillion cells are affected by emotions, hopes, fears, beliefs, mistakes and imagination. It always amazes me how fast the body responds after clearing certain energetic blocks or belief systems.
You can’t think your way out of an energetic block. You need to shift the energy.

Does this sound familiar? You have a big day planned and start off with lots of energy. After spending some time in your home office, you find you need frequent breaks just to keep going. Your motivation and energy are just gone.
Lately this was happening to me a lot. After several weeks, I finally checked the energy level of my office with my dowsing rods. It was a negative 5! I’ve cleared my whole house, and it normally reads as a positive 20. I checked for geopathic stress and found 3 lines in my office. After clearing them, the energy went back up.
I checked the rest of the house. On the north side, several geopathic stress lines were found. What was going on?
Here in Texas, May, June and early July were unusually rainy months. We also have a lot of clay and sandy areas in the soil along with underground springs. The large amount of rain caused a shift in the soil which created more geopathic stress lines on the north side of my house.
Taking care of stress lines is like mending the house. Things happen. You take clothes to your seamstress or tailor to be altered or repaired. The same care should be given to the subtle energy of your house or office.
How do you know if your house needs some dowsing? Are there certain rooms you tend to avoid or where you feel lethargic or you just feel down? Are you sleeping well? Do you have more allergies? Do appliances break down often? Are your plants sickly? Are there a lot of arguments in the house? These are clues that you’re being affected by negative energies from the earth.
A stitch in time saves nine means it’s better to take care of things now rather than put it off till later, when things could get worse and take longer to deal with.
Geopathic stress is harmful to the body. If you only have one room of your house cured, it should be your bedroom where you could be subject to geopathic stress for 8 hours a night, day after day. Along with affecting your sleep, the stress on your body can lead to illness in the long run.
