I used to be under the illusion that saying a few affirmations, eating right, taking my supplements and exercising were my guarantee to live vitally into old age without any physical problems.

The first clue that broke my bubble was at the age of 50 when I was diagnosed with severe Osteopenia.  My doctor said she had never seen such a dramatic drop in bone density.

How could that be??  I had been active all my life; an avid tennis player, a runner and hiker, spinning instructor,  personal trainer and a pilates instructor.  I took my calcium faithfully and ate a healthy diet.  What was going on?

The Most Stressful Time of the Year And How to go from Surviving to Thriving

Cooking, baking, decorating, holiday cards, looking for that perfect gift for everyone on your list and lots of family time.  Ahh, the holidays.

While we have certain expectations of what it should be and feel the need to live up to that, what’s missing for most of us is any focus on our emotional self-care.  It’s easier to focus on the physical, exercising regularly to lower stress.   Yet the emotional dimension — our thoughts and feelings, even our spirits, are ignored until the drama escalates into an explosive release.

To ignore our emotions is “old-school.”  There’s a reason we have emotions.  Anger, grief, fear — are not necessarily negative.  We need anger to define boundaries.  We need grief to deal with our losses, and fear to protect ourselves from danger.  

Strong emotions that are not processed thoroughly are stored at the cellular level.  This can cause us to feel stuck, repeating the same negative patterns over and over again and wondering why we keep sabotaging ourselves.  Stuck emotions can also lead to “psychosomatic” illnesses.  The definition of psychosomatic is: a physical disorder that is caused by or notably influenced by emotional factors.   I believe 99% of illnesses are psychosomatic.  

So how do we clear our negative emotions and programs?  I’ve tried affirmations.  I’ve also used emotional tapping, where you tap certain meridian points as you talk out your feelings.  Later I found the Emotion Code faster and more efficient.  But I would have to keep clearing the same emotions from time to time.

How To Grow Younger Every Day

This is the third article in the series of my 4 best anti-aging practices.

I’ve reached a point in my life where most people retire.  But I love what I do!  I still love teaching pilates and helping people clear negative energies in their homes and in their lives.  Yet there was a time when I really felt I was slowing down and wondered how much longer I could be active with my pilates classes.  Then a friend told me about something that turned her life around.  She had suffered several broken ribs in a car accident, along with back pain that was not responding to anything the doctors did for her.  Even after 6 months, her ribs were still not totally healed.  She dragged herself from doctor to doctor trying to find relief.  And then one day someone suggested she try a special skin patch — to help with pain, sleep, energy, and repairing cell damage.  It sounded too good to be true, but she was desperate.

The Fabulous Vagus Nerve

The Art of Space Clearing

Subtle energies of the earth are not something most people are aware of. Yet these energies have a definite impact on your life, health and behavior.

After moving into our current home, I had a gradual decrease in vitality and wellbeing over the years. Most people would say, that’s just part of the aging process. I knew better. My friends were not getting sick more often, or developing arthritis or numerous other issues I was having.

Then I started to notice how much better I would feel when being gone on vacation. Returning home, the aches and pains would come back. I thought I was just stressed about getting back to work, although I love my work. Then a friend introduced me to some new dowsing rods she had gotten. I was intrigued with the accuracy of them when asking questions that I already knew the answers to. Intuitively I signed up to get certified as a dowser, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Immediately my sleep improved. My husband and I got along much better.

The refrigerator stopped making a loud popping noise. And for someone like me who never had a green thumb, the house plants began to flourish. So much so, people started asking what I was doing for them. Yes, plants are also affected by the earth’s energies.

The main energy stressing my home was geopathic stress. Scientific studies have measured the negative physical effects on the body from geopathic stress. They found that geopathic stress decreases the body’s ability to handle toxins, including lead and heavy metals. It can also deplete your body of potassium, calcium and serotonin, disrupting the electrical signalling between the brain and body. Sleeping over one of these electromagnetic lines can cause sleeplessness, illness, emotional disturbance, ailments, cancer and infertility.

Other stressful energies include Interference Lines caused by electromagnetic energy created by human technology. Interference Lines can lead to a number of issues; lack of romance, poor finances, depression. I even found interference lines in my house for COVID-19 and cured them.

Personal Zones are basically interference lines that affect you personally. Each person in a house will have personal zones unique to them, even pets. You might have more allergy symptoms in these areas. Or you may feel like avoiding these areas.

Hartmann and Curry Lines are located in a grid formation. Before electricity they were harmless. When these lines connect with an electrical source inside buildings, they turn detrimental. The cross point of a negative Curry line with a negative Hartmann line creates an especially negative energy field. I had a cross point at the upper right corner of my bed where I sleep. I sleep on my back. Interesting that I developed severe arthritis in my right shoulder.

The most powerful energies are Vortexes created by Ley Lines. Think of ley lines as meridians connecting acupuncture points on Earth, similar to the acupuncture meridians in our body. There are two types of vortexes– positive and negative.

Positive vortexes are created where ley lines intersect at a perfect 90-degree angle. The energy spirals upward in a clockwise direction and is thought of as a place where Heaven meets Earth. This energy is good when meditating, working, practicing yoga or qigong.

Negative vortexes spiral downward in a counterclockwise motion and create a draining or depleting energy. Negative vortexes can also cause a lot of clutter and chaos where they are located.

Consider yourself very lucky if you have a positive vortex in your home. I have only found one home with a positive vortex. The woman told me the room with the positive vortex was where she liked to spend most of her time while recovering from knee surgery.

How to Lose Weight without Dieting

There are so many diets out there.  Paleo, Keto, Caveman, High Carb, Low Fat, High Fat, Low Carb.

But maybe the emphasis has been on the wrong thing.

My vitamin D levels were checked recently.  And I was surprised my levels were barely in the normal range since I take 5,000 IU a day.  Could it be because I’ve been avoiding the great outdoors?  Here in Texas, it can get pretty hot in the summer.   I’m talking 105 degrees with a heat index of 111.  

So what’s all this got to do with losing weight?  Bear with me as I explain my thought process.  I’ve always considered food to be the main driver of our metabolism.  And if you lack something, take a supplement.  But clearly the high amount of vitamin D I was taking did not make much of a difference.  So I did some research on the effect of sunlight.  And what I discovered made a lot of sense.

The newest scientific research shows that sunlight is the controlling factor of our body’s metabolism and energy.  The scientific term for our cellular energy is mitochondria.  They can be likened to the spark plugs of an engine.  If the spark plugs are worn out, putting premium fuel in the car might help a little but doesn’t solve the root issue of damaged spark plugs.  It’s the same with us.  Just eating a clean diet doesn’t solve the damaged mitochondria and broken metabolism.  

Sunlight is the main influence for our mitochondria and is responsible for our metabolism, our sleep cycle, our production of hormones and our circadian rhythm.  

So it appears the root cause for struggling with weight loss  has to do with a deficiency of sunlight.

We are electromagnetic beings, meaning we have natural frequencies that are dependent on natural sunlight. 

In 1879 the light bulb was invented.  Since then, we have been using all kinds of man-made frequencies.

The average American is inside 92-93% of their time.  The other 6-8% is in their car.

People go on diet after diet and are having a hard time because they’re not getting enough of the most important driver of our biology:  the sun and it’s different frequencies.

Light alone controls the secretion of melatonin, the master hormone that helps us sleep, it helps with antiaging and mitochondrial repair.  So it should be priority number one.

How much sun is enough?  Experts say just 10 – 30 minutes for 3-5 times a week.  As for me, I’m opting to go outside in the morning for a walk before the heat becomes obtrusive.  And I have found that when I do, I actually sleep better!  As for the sunscreen, I apply it to my face and neck, allowing other areas to get full sun.

We also need to avoid man-made frequencies as much as possible since it can disrupt our natural frequencies.  However getting lots of sunlight can build up your mitochondria so you can handle things like wifi and 5G better.

Cactus plants can absorb the radiation from computers.  And there are various EMF protectors on the market you can apply to your phone and other gadgets.  It’s especially important to reduce the blue light coming from your devices in the evening by wearing blue light blocking glasses.  This will allow your natural secretion of melatonin.

Essential Oils

It’s great to see so many people interested in essential oils these days. Chemists have identified over 3,000 different molecules present in essential oils. And we’re still discovering more and more about what they can do for our health.

My family has replaced our medicine cabinet with essential oils and we use them everyday for everything from sleep issues, to air freshener, to mouthwash and face cleaning, to cleaning counter tops.

But not all essential oils are created equal. If you’re wanting to reduce toxins in your body, please choose your essential oils with care.
