MY OWN STORY OF HEALING AND THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF ENERGY CLEARING
I am honored that my journey is featured in June’s edition of Voyage Dallas Magazine and below, I am sharing the interview.
Question: Hi Kay, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Answer: I was always an active and athletic person when we lived in Colorado. Then, we relocated to Texas. The first year after a move is always an adjustment.
We took our time finding the perfect house as we lived in an apartment with our furnishings in storage. It was very exciting when we finally moved into our new home. I got active again, finding a gym close by, teaching spinning classes, eventually teaching pilates, and opening my own studio. I had found my niche, and life was good.
There was a gradual decline in my health, barely noticeable. Within about two years after moving into the house, my workouts were no longer making me feel good. Little aches and pains that had not been there before were a constant companion. I began reading nutrition books and other self-help books, looking for answers. I tried different chiropractors, acupuncturists, a Bowen therapist, and medical massage. I felt like a rat running on a wheel, going from appointment to appointment.
One day, something came in the mail that I normally would toss in the trash. It was all about getting certified as a dowser and improving everything from health to finances to your career and your love life. The timing was perfect after a good friend had stopped by a few days before showing me a pair of dowsing rods she’d been given for her birthday. I was amazed at how accurately the rods responded when I asked a yes or no question. So when I received the letter about a dowsing certification, I signed up without hesitation. And as they say… the rest is history.
After clearing my house, I noticed how it just felt lighter and peaceful. The silly arguments my husband and I used to have just disappeared. Within about two weeks, there was a definite improvement in my health. And even the plants in the house grew better. People started asking if I had a green thumb!
At first, I was afraid to get out of the closet. I knew of no one else who cleared houses. I figured I would be put in the nut house if I told people I cleared spirits and geopathic stress lines. My first client was a friend who worked as the office manager for her husband’s chiropractic business. She told me she had inherited her mom’s house and felt like it was possessed.
There was one bedroom her daughter always avoided when she visited. Not even the dog would go in there. After clearing her house, she said it felt so much better, and everyone felt relaxed, including the dog. And her daughter was now happy to sleep in the once-haunted bedroom. A few months later, the master bathroom shower was having some plumbing issues. Her husband thought he fixed it the year before and was about to call the plumbers. But his wife said, “Better call Kay!”
I’m happy to say after clearing the negative vortex and the spirits in the master bathroom, the shower started working just fine. She also said the wasps that used to gather outside the bathroom window were also gone. I told her that’s because wasps and other insects, like ants, etc., are attracted to negative vortexes. Remove them, and you take care of the problem.
Question: I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Answer: A lot of people still aren’t aware of dowsing. I mostly rely on word of mouth to grow my business. Those who have experienced it are the most enthusiastic advocates.
In the beginning, if invited to speak on clearing houses, I was afraid to talk about clearing spirits because I was concerned I would only be associated with those reality TV shows about haunted houses. But now energy clearing for houses is becoming mainstream. I’m referring to an article in the Wall Street Journal, dated Dec 15, 2023. Look for it in the MANSION section, titled: “Energy Healers Are the New Home-Repair Pros”.
What I do is work on an energy level that encompasses health, wealth, relationships, and happiness. People aren’t aware that having geopathic stress lines running under your bed is considered one of the many risk factors for cancer. I was clearing a woman’s bedroom the other day that had a negative interference line for health running across her bed. These types of negative influences are unseen but slowly catch up with you.
I feel a major part of my job is education. People are so used to going to a doctor and getting a quick fix with a pill that does nothing to solve the root of the problem. Better to go to the source. Start by clearing out all the stress and negativity in your environment and going from there. Let your home boost your immune system rather than adding to the stress.
A lot of people will sage their house or use a lot of crystals to clear the energy. These are only temporary fixes. I go in, I cure the negative vortexes and negative ley lines, and I send the spirits to the Light. You never have to deal with them again. Once that’s done, your crystals will have an even more powerful effect.
Question: Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Answer: What I love about this work is that every house is so different. And I get to use my intuition, which is my major strength. One house was full of antiques that were bringing down the energy.
These antiques were filled with imprints from people of the past as well as spirits. After clearing them I also gave them downloads filled with positive attributes to really enhance the energy. That’s my special touch. I like to download objects, beds, crystals, sofas, pictures, and whatever the client wants to help bring up the vibe. It could be for romance, more success, or maybe just to feel comfortable and nurtured in your own home.
Ialso like to go above and beyond by not simply curing a negative vortex. I turn that negative vortex into a positive one. This one thing really brings the energy level up, and some people turn these areas into their meditation circles.

When the girls came home from college this weekend, we enjoyed each other’s company and had a great time. And immediately, I began sleeping through the night, which is amazing!”
A nurse who was a new mom said nothing felt right after moving into their new house. They had been in it almost a year, and she still couldn’t bring herself to finish clearing the boxes in her bedroom. What concerned her most was their baby boy kept getting sick. Her husband said all kids get sick from going to daycare. But she knew that it wasn’t right for her baby to be sick all the time when he hadn’t been like that before.
The baby’s room was on the 2nd floor. I noticed a negative vortex on the bottom floor right underneath the position of his bed. Being on the 2nd floor meant he felt ten times the negative effects of the vortex as the intensity increased each level up. I’m happy to report after clearing the house. The baby is happy and well without getting sick all the time. And mom no longer feels stuck about finishing her bedroom.
